- Check to see that the hand piece is plugged into the front panel receptacle.
 
- Make sure you are in the “PHACO” mode.
 
- Check to see that the phaco tip is not loose.
 
- Check to see if the bubble suppressor is not stuck, (it should easily rotate) and see that it is not torn.
 
- Check if the foot pedal is driving machine to phaco position.
 
- Try non-linear mode.
